Yew See Bailey - The founder of Baileys Solicitors and set the firm ‘Baileys Solicitors’ up in September 1992 in the pretty town of Buckingham. She has had a successful career spanning over 30 Years and during her time as sole practitioner of the firm she has dealt with many interesting and involved areas of the Law, including but not limited to Family Law, Commercial Property, Civil Litigation, Residential Property, Wills and Probate. Yew See has always been looked up to by both her professional colleagues and her Clients; her friendly nature and brilliance as a Lawyer have been skills which she passed on to Imran Alam, who after 18 Years of working for Yew See took over the practice as the sole practitioner with the intention of keeping the torch lit and aim to see the firm prosper in every way. Yew See has been a Consultant with the firm since 2011. Yew See advises and welcomes instructions from Private Clients as well on Residential and Commercial property transactions.

Imran has been affiliated with Baileys Solicitors since 1992 and was admitted as a Qualified Solicitor in 2007 after which he acquired the firm and became the Principal Solicitor of the firm from early 2011, whereby he has the role of the Firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice and Finance and Administration (COLP and COFA Roles); as well as being the firm’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and Senior Reporting Officer (SRO). Imran heads the firm and this involves heading all areas of Practice, including but not limited to Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, Family Law including reaching Financial Settlements in relation to Clients, Employment Law including Settlement Agreements and Employment Tribunal Claims involving Constructive, Unfair and Wrongful Dismissal, Wills and Probate and Civil Litigation. He also advises Private Clients and deals with all aspects of Court of Protection as well as taking instructions on behalf of the Administrators of the deceased estate and deals with matters where he is the often appointed as the Executor or the Attorney on behalf of either the deceased client or clients who have lost mental capacity respectively. 

Imran enjoys golfing, swimming and plays cricket outside office.

Naved graduated from the University of Birmingham with LLB Law degree in 2004 following which he completed his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in 2006 with a commendation. He qualified as a solicitor in 2009 with a specialist criminal law firm and is qualified to advice and represent clients at Police Stations and/or regulatory interviews under PACE. He joined Baileys Solicitors in 2012 and became a Consultant at the Firm in April 2020. He has been advising clients on all aspects of Immigration Law as well as undertaking conveyancing transactions and also welcomes instructions from Private Clients. Naved has dealt with application under Appendix FM, Point Based System, British Nationality and EEA Applications. He has also successfully represented clients at the First Tier Tribunal and on appeals to the Upper Tribunal. He also assists in the Conveyancing Department advising clients on their sale and/or purchases as well as Transfer of Equity and re-mortgages. He also advises Private Clients on their Lasting Power of Attorneys as well as on their Wills and Personal Injury.

Alys joined Baileys towards the end of May 2021 having successfully completed her secondary education at King’s High School for Girls in Warwickshire. She undertakes client relations within our firm which include greeting and assisting both existing and potential clients for the firm. She also assists the Principal with some legal matters as well as covering the reception and handling telephone enquiries. She has a very confident and friendly nature which she acquired having came from a management background in retail, Alys has decided to have a career change because law is an area which interests her immensely and she aspires to pursue a career in law.

Alys’ interests include horse riding, which is a passion close to her heart, having owned her own horses in the past. Her interests and hobbies also include health and wellbeing and swimming when she finds time.

Juliet joined the firm in May 2021 having successfully completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) which she studied at the University of Law Bloomsbury, London. She then acquired some valuable legal experience with a well-known firm in London dealing with the preparation of Court Pleadings, Court representations, and varied Court Applications in Family and Immigration matters. She also has good experience in Residential Conveyancing matters involving Sales, Purchases, Re-mortgages, Transfers of Equity and other Property related matters. She covers various areas of law with our firm to high level of standard consisting of Immigration Law, Family Law, and she also shadows the Principal Solicitor whereby she assists him with Commercial Property, Wills, Probate, Court of Protection and Lasting Power of Attorney matters. Her experience in Immigration Law and the manner in which she prepares and submits varied Immigration Applications as listed within our services leaves the clients very satisfied with the high-quality services provided to them resulting in a vast number of successful Applications.

In her spare time, Juliet’s interests include meditating, reading and life coaching.

Mahdiya joined the firm in 2018 after graduating from the University of Westminster with a 2:1 in her Law degree. She is now undertaking her Legal Practice Course and is currently employed at the firm as a Legal Assistant. She assists the Principal in Family Department with All types of Family Act Applications, including but not limited to Applications for Non-Molestation and Occupation Order Applications and other Children Act Applications. She also assists with the preparation of Court Pleadings, Witness Statements, Court Bundles and various Court Application Forms in both Family Matters and Civil Litigation Cases which she often also assists with. She has a very friendly and proactive approach with all her dealings with any of the firm’s Clients. 

Mahdiya also assists the Principal with Probate Matters, involving the Administration and Distribution of both Intestate Estates of the Deceased and where Wills have been left.   

Mahdiya enjoys spending time with her family and playing badminton in her spare time.

Faizan joined the Firm in July 2019 and is a dedicated and hard-working individual who exercises a great level of attention to detail. He successfully completed his Legal Practice Course at Birmingham City University.

He mainly covers Deputyship Orders, which includes handling these matters from the beginning of the matter right through until the Deputyship Order is granted by the Court of Protection, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Employment Disputes, which include assisting on Employment Settlement Agreement matters, Civil Litigation Matters, and the more involved Probate Matters, as well as Sales of Business transactions. His varied experience in these areas has meant that he has developed a very high level of accuracy and a great level of standard whereby acting in the Client’s very best interest at all times.

He intends to become a popular and dynamic Solicitor and is forever progressing and excelling with our Firm. His interests include working out at the Gym and playing sport.

Asim joined the firm in early 2019 after graduating from Oxford Brookes University with a B.A (Hons) Degree in Business and Management. He assists the Principal of the firm in the Commercial Property Department, including but not limited to assisting with the drafting of Sale of Business Agreements, Commercial Leases, Statutory Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 Notices, Rent Deposit Deeds, Deeds of Assignment of Lease and Deeds of Assignment of Goodwill. He also assists with the preparation of some Court Pleadings, Witness Statements and other Court paperwork in Civil Litigation Cases. He has a very professional and caring approach with all the firm’s Clients. 

He also assists the Principal with Employment Matters including making Settlement Agreements Attendance Notes. He also assists in Probate Matters in the Administration and Distribution of both Intestate Estates of the Deceased and where Wills have been left.

Ananthu joined the firm in 2021, having successful gained qualifications in Accounting and Taxation in both India and the UK. He first studied Chartered Accountancy (CA-Intermediate) in ICAI being the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2013 to 2018; whereby during this time he also successfully completed his B Com (Bachelors in Commerce) and then M Com (Masters in Commerce) and in the UK he has recently completed his MSc (Masters in Sciences) in Accounting and Finance where he studied in the University of Northampton. His over 4 years of wide experience in Auditing, Taxation and Chartered Accountancy in India have given him the knowledge and confidence to take up the exciting and responsible role of Trainee Legal Cashier with our firm which is proving to be the correct career path for him and he aspires to work hard with the firm to reach the role of Senior Legal Cashier.

Outside of his working life Ananthu is a friendly family man, who likes reading Novels, and socialising with friends. He also has a sporty side to him which is that he is a keen all-rounder Cricketer and plays Cricket at Club level in Northampton.

Naveed who is an IT Consultant engaged by our firm joined Baileys Solicitors in 2011 having successfully completed his Masters in Information Technology. He heads the Firm’s IT Systems. He has acquired IT qualifications and experience since 2003. He deals with all day-to-day IT Systems and issues related to these for our firm and is a practical thinker who ensures that all aspects of Web Security are forever given top priority. His diligent approach to all aspects of his work has ensured that our firm have delivered a hugely safe and secure level of service to our Clients in relation to all internet related interactions and liaisons which we have had with our Clients and Professional contacts.

In his spare time Naveed is an avid Badminton player, and a devoted family man who runs his business and family life in an immensely successful way.

Husnain joined the Firm in 2011 as a Practice Management Assistant and is now Managing the practice with the Role of Business Operations and Legal Accounts Management responsibilities. Throughout his time with the firm he has built on a high level of experience and knowledge in Business Development, Practice Management and Legal Operations of the Firm; whereby he assists in the smooth operating of the firm in general and on the accounts side of all matters. He also works very hard in generating the influx of new Client instructions. He also assists with the Solicitors Accounts’ for the firm. He is a part qualified ACCA. He has acquired a wide range of Practice Management skills and plays a pivotal and vastly important role in the successful running of the firm.

Husnain likes going to the gym in his spare time and enjoys playing badminton.
